Wibiya Toolbar Review

This is a review of the Wibiya Toolbar, used here on Churchosphere. I think it’s worth using wherever you want to increase user engagement (everywhere). And also, not many people use it, so it’s kind of unique. Check out the video.

Wibiya Toolbar Review

I did the screen capture on my Mac Snow Leopard w/ Quicktime X. It’s super simple, just go to file > New Screen Capture. It even let me select my better microphone to do the audio. Super slick, worth the $30. A 3 minute capture was 20 mb, so the quality isn’t *super* high, but solid enough I suppose.

I dig the look and feel of the toolbar and am toying with the idea of using it on the redesign of my site.

Wibiya is an awesome toolbar. I notice that you have turned off most of the features. Any reason for this?

    • yea the facebook thing took a long time to load, not super long, but it was kinda clunky. and it didn't really fit with my strategy (read: I didn't like it).

      the other stuff:
-translation makes me nervous, I don't want something to translate wrong.
-games: There are better games other places, I don't want people playing them here.

That was my rationale, the other tools aren't bad at all, just didn't fit here. Do you use it?

i'm not going to use it…but i like to keep this in mind as i find creative strategies that fit for my clients
