Question: Connecting

So I suck at posting regularly (or ever). Semester is killin me, good reasons, whatever. Come November, it’ll be back, yea.

I’m at Catalyst right now, and have been thinking over the course of this packed day…

  1. Why do churches suck at connecting with other churches?
  2. What needs to happen to help needs get met with resources?
  3. What is the best “model” to see that happen?
  4. Does it matter enough to fight through the differences?

I’m going to start researching these questions, and I’d like your feedback.

  1. I understand. Maybe you can post some of your notes from Catalyst if you have the time.

I WISH that churches could connect. Geez, we're all fighting the same fight, and trying to lead others to a relationship with Christ. The dozen or so that are within a 2 mile radius of my church could do so much more if we just combined resources and talents. Atleast pray together.

Jealous of you at Catalyst. I have to work :(

Each of those questions could very well be a series of posts on their own. Although, a post dedicated to question number one could come out as a tongue lashing.

    • yea I agree about the tongue lashing. That's the hard part about writing critically about problems in the church. It's always one poorly worded sentence away from being unfairly critical. Anyway I'm going to try to respectfully investigate the issue.
